Edna B. Arme
Edna B. Arme, 93, Cokato, died Saturday, Dec. 10, 2005, at Cokato Manor.
Services were conducted Dec. 15 at Apostolic Lutheran Church, Kingston, with the Rev. Norman Kangas officiating. Congregational hymns were sung with David Schauer as organist. Interment was at the church cemetery.
Casket bearers were Ron Strand, Brad Rokala, Richard Orn, Lloyd Salmela, Harley Hendrickson and Edwin Erickson.
Edna B. Rudquist was born July 5, 1912, in Wright County, Minnesota, to Charles and Hilma (Kursu) Rudquist. She received her education at Birch Lake Country School.
On Oct. 11, 1931, she married Onnie Arme at the Albion Free Church parsonage. They resided in the Cokato area before moving to Minneapolis. They later returned to a farm north of Cokato until the late 1970s when the built a house in Kingston. She had been a resident of Cokato Manor for the past five years.
Survivors include a granddaughter, Christine Salmela of Virginia Beach, Va.
She was preceded in death by her husband; and a daughter, Lois.
