Pamela M. Byrne
Pamela M. Byrne, age 42 of Victoria, died Saturday, Feb. 19, 2005 as the result of an automobile accident.
She was born Jan. 13, 1963 in Cokato to Harvey and Beverly (Fredricks) Burau. Pamela was baptized and confirmed at Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano.
Pamela attended Mt. Olive Lutheran School, and graduated from Delano High School in 1981. She continued her education at St. Cloud State University, graduating with a degree in graphic design and a marketing major.
Pamela was married to Jeff Byrne July 30, 1988 at Trinity Lutheran Church in Watertown by the Rev. Johassen.
Pam was happiest in the kitchen cooking up something special, or playing softball or volleyball, bowling or shooting pool, and deer hunting. She loved her family and enjoyed their activities and ball games, attending every event unless her boys played at the same time.
She was always willing to help out at Our Savior’s Lutheran School, and was also employed there for a few years. She volunteered as a room mother and a driver to sports events and field trips.
Pam was currently employed as a Pampered Chef consultant for 15 years, and also worked part-time at the RE/MAX office in Chanhassen.
Pam loved the Lord and had a strong faith in God.
Her bubbly personality and energy will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
She is survived by her loving husband, Jeff; children: Chelsea, Charlie, and C.J. Byrne; parents Harvey and Beverly Burau of Watertown; brother and sister-in-law Tim and Sara Burau of Watertown; and sisters and brother-in-law Patricia and Joe Lemmerman of Delano, and Penny Burau of Watertown.
Pam is further survived by her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Joseph and Joan Byrne of Maple Grove; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Christopher and Robin Byrne of Maple Grove, Gregory and Colleen Byrne of Eagan, and Kim and Rick Poganski of St. Cloud; grandma Julia Gerber of Minneapolis; and nieces and newphews: Tabitha, Jeremy, and Cheyanne Lemmerman; Sabrina Burau, Zoe Burau, Aaron Byrne, Brittney and Austin Poganski, and Aidan Byrne.
Funeral services were Thursday, Feb. 24 at 11 a.m. at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Excelsior with the Rev. John Zahrte officiating. Intemrent followed at Lakeview Cemetery in Waconia.
Casket bearers were Debra Blowers, Diane Dickey, Lori Passe, Jennifer Vogel, Pamel Illies, and Cheryl Zaske.
Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia.
