Harvey W. Domjahn, 66
Harvey W. Domjahn, age 66 of Hollywood Township, Watertown, died Saturday, June 18, 2005 at his home.
Harvey was born June 24, 1938 in Watertown, the son of William W. and Elizabeth (Spomer) Domjahn. He was baptized July 24, 1938 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany, by the Rev. Theodore Rolf; and confirmed at the same church Oct. 14, 1956 by the Rev. Henry Weseloh.
Harvey was united in marriage to Beverly J. Kassulker May 8, 1965 at St. John Lutheran Church, Hollywood Township, by the Rev. Darold Boettcher.
Harvey was engaged in farming, and also spent 30 years with the U.S. Postal Service.
He enjoyed his family, as well as restoring tractors, going to tractor pulls, snowmobiling, and hunting.
Harvey was preceded in death by his parents, William and Elizabeth Domjahn; a brother, Benjamin Domjahn; mother-in-law Lorraine Kassulker; niece Stacy Loehrs; and niece and husband Judy and Wayne Jones.
He is survived by his loving wife, Beverly; daughter and son-in-law Lisa and Jonathan Schermann of Lester Prairie, son DuWayne Domjahn of Watertown; and grandchildren Jacob, Noah, and Alexis.
Harvey is further survived by his father-in-law Norman Kassulker of Watertown; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law Sandra and Dale Loehrs of Watertown, Larry and Marilyn Kassulker of Mayer, Ronald and Debbie Kassulker of Mayer, and Vivian (Domjahn) and George Herrmann of Watertown; uncles and aunts Cordella Spomer of Delano, Clinton Spomer of Watertown, Merlin Kassulker of Watertown, and Delbert and Geneva Dresseler of Lester Prairie; nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Tuesday, June 21 at 1:30 p.m. at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Watertown, with the Revs. Paul Krentz and Ronald Mathison officiating. Interment followed at the public cemetery in Watertown.
Casket bearers were Jerry Domjahn, Jeff Domjahn, Rodney Domjahn, Harlan Weege, Marlin Hecksel, Keith Spomer, and Edward Vinkemeier.
Arrangements were by Johnson Funeral Home of Waconia.
