Mary Ann Dressen

Mary Ann Dressen, age 72 of Waverly, went to heaven Monday, Nov. 21, 2005 due to complications from Alzheimer’s disease.

Mary Ann was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and a good friend to all who knew her. Everything she did, she did for others.

She was an optimistic woman who believed in the power of prayer.

In heaven, Mary Ann is reunited with her parents, Charles and Helen Goodridge, and her sweet daughter, Beverly.

She leaves behind a family who will miss her, but has a lifetime of loving memories.

She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Cyril; children, Donna and Dehl Gallagher, Cathy Decker, Mary Jo and Eugene Oliver, Charles Dressen and special friend Leanne LaFave, Colleen and Gary Hay, and Mark and Jennifer Dressen; 10 grandchildren, who were her pride and joy; a sister, Beatrice and Ken Hausladen; and sister-in-law and brother-in-law George and Maxine Haas.

Her beautiful smile will be missed, but never forgotten.

Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Nov. 26 at noon at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly.

Visitation was Friday, Nov. 25 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.; and continued for one hour prior to the Mass on Saturday.

Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
