Frank Earl Flowers, Sr.
Frank Earl Flowers, Sr., age 82 of Fort Valley, Ga., died Wednesday, Oct. 12, 2005.
He was born in Fort Valley to the late Henry and Mary Lizzie Barfield Flowers.
Frank served in the US Army during World War II.
He was a retired building inspector for the City of Fort Valley, and was involved in construction for many years. He also served as a volunteer Fort Valley fireman for 25 years.
Frank was a member of Fort Valley Presbyterian Church, the Al Sihah Shrine Temple, and was also a Mason.
He is survived by his wife, Connie (Lundeen) Flowers of Fort Valley, Ga.; children, Mary and Allen Arseneau of Sandford, Fla.; and Frank Earl Jr. and Leonita Flowers of Richmond, Va.; and granddaughters Sara, Marjie, Holli, and Suzie.
Frank was preceded in death by his daughter, Karna Lundeen Flowers.
Graveside services took place Friday, Oct. 14 in Oaklawn Cemetery, officated by the Rev. Sandy Monroe.
