Bradley Edward Fritz
Bradley Edward Fritz, age 69 of Norwood Young America, died Wednesday, Jan. 5, 2005, at Elim Home in Watertown.
He was born Aug. 17, 1935 in Minneapolis, the son of Wilbert and Irene (Lembecker) Fritz. Bradley was baptized Sept. 15, 1935 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in NYA by Rev. Dowidat, and confirmed at Trinity Lutberan Church in Carver by Rev. Panning.
He was united in marriage to Arlene E. (lsche) Dec. 15, 1956 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in NYA by Rev. Raedeke.
Brad was a distributor of Oak Grove dairy products for 47 years.
His hobbies included camping, working around his home, and socializing with family and friends over a cup of coffee.
Brad’s wife, Arlene, died in February of 1997.
In addition to his wife, Brad is preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Gordon and Doug; and a sister-in-law, LuAnn Fritz.
He is survived by a daughter, Connie Hoernemann (husband Bruce) of NYA; three sons: Danny Fritz of NYA; Randy Fritz of Bloomington, and Tom Fritz (wife Sue) of Lester Prairie; and six grandchildren: Ryan Hoernemann (fiance Jess), Ross Hoernemann (special friend Angela), Jenna Hoernemann, Jayme Fritz, Josh Fritz (special friend Jo), and Katelyn Fritz.
He is further survived by eight brothers and two sisters: Dennis Fritz, Will Fritz, Richard Fritz (wife Carol), Gary Fritz, Terry Fritz (wife Kathy), Lee Fritz, Diane Snobeck, Keith Fritz (wife Margaret), Mick Fritz, and Linda Patterson (husband Ron); and sister-in-law Bonnie Fritz; as well as other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were Sunday, Jan. 9 at 2 p.m. from St. John’s Lutheran Church in NYA with the Rev. Scott Gustafson officiating. The organist was Rita Luecke, and the soloist was William Grundahl, who sang “Hymn Of Promise.” Congregational hymns were “On Eagles Wings,” “Be Not Afraid,” and “Amazing Grace.”
The casket bearers were Ryan Hoernemann, Ross Hoernemann, Josh Fritz, Greg Kube, Gary Kube and David Kube.
Visitation was Saturday evening at the Paul-McBride Chapel in Norwood Young America, with a prayer service at 8 p.m. Interment was in the church cemetery.
The Paul-McBride Funeral Chapel in NYA handled the arrangements.
