Norman H. Kassulker
Norman H. Kassulker, age 87 of New Germany, died Saturday, July 30, 2005 at Elim Home in Watertown.
He was born Jan. 27, 1918 in Hollywood Township, the son of William and Alma (Hill) Kassulker. He was baptized March 17, 1918 at St. John Lutheran Church in Hollywood Twp. by the Rev. W. L. Ernst; and confirmed by the same April 9, 1933.
Norman was united in marriage to Lorraine L. Dressler June 30, 1945 at St. Frieden’s UCC Church in Plato by the Rev. Shield.
Norman was a trustee and a school board member at St. John Lutheran Church in Hollywood Twp.
He farmed his entire lifetime, and enjoyed being with his family.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lorraine; son-in-law Harvey Domjahn; granddaughter Stacy Loehrs; parents William and Alma Kassulker; brother Howard Kassulker; and sisters Ada Kassulker and Stella Hecksel.
Norman is survived by children and spouses Beverly Domjahn of Watertown, Sandra and Dale Loehrs of Watertown, Larry and Marilyn Kassulker of Mayer, and Ronald and Debbie Kassulker of Mayer; and grandchildren Lisa and Jon Schermann, DuWayne Domjahn, Emily, Amanda, and Olivia Kassulker; Mark Steffens, Shari Kassulker, Laura and Brian Roy, Dawn and Larry Bina, Jody Loehrs, and Nathan Loehrs.
He is further survived by great-grandchildren Jacob, Noah, Alexis, Allison, Kylie, Logan, and Alyece; brother Merlin Kassulker of Watertown; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Delbert and Geneva Dressler of Lester Prairie; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Services were Wednesday, Aug. 3 at 11 a.m. at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Hollywood Twp., with the Rev. Robert J. Rupprecht officiating. Interment followed at St. John Lutheran Cemetery, New Germany.
Casketbearers were Norman’s grandchildren.
Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
