Michael Steven Lockwood

Michael Steven Lockwood, age 50 of Isle, died Sunday, March 20, 2005 at his home.

Michael was born Sept. 22, 1954 in Ontario, Calif., to the late Steven and Veronica (Panagabka) Lockwood. As a young child, he moved to the Cokato area to live closer to his family. He spent a lot of his younger years with his grandparents.

Michael was married and later divorced.

He was employed as a truck driver and most recently, in a saw mill in the Mille Lacs area.

He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, and NASCAR racing.

Survivors include his daughters, Becky Lockwood and Lindsay (Andy Stang) Lockwood, all of Waverly; sisters Wendy (Robert) McKee of Arizona, and Barb (Bob) McClung of Minneapolis; niece Katie (Fritz) Schultz of Minneapolis; and nephew Thomas (Elizabeth) Kennedy of Minneapolis.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Steven and Veronica Lockwood.

Funeral services were Thursday, March 24 at 5 p.m. at the Peterson Chapel in Buffalo with Joe Kittock officiating. Private interment of his cremains will take place at a later date at the Howard Lake Cemetery in Howard Lake.

Visitation was from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday, March 24 at the funeral home.

The Peterson Chapel of Buffalo served the family.
