Frank Weber obituary, 9/4/05


Frank Weber, age 93 of Winsted Township, died early Sunday morning, Sept. 4, 2005 at the Cokato Manor.
He was born Sept. 22, 1911 in Winsted Township, McLeod County, the son of Joseph and Anna Schlagel Weber Sr.
Frank was joined in holy marriage with Gertrude Dukhorn June 20, 1939 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
Frank and Gertrude engaged in dairy farming in Winsted Township for many years. Frank lived on the original Weber homestead of his grandparents.
He was a lifelong member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted.
Frank is survived by nieces, nephews; great nieces and nephews; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Gertrude, in 1989; his parents, Joseph and Anna Weber Sr.; three brothers, John, Joseph, and Daniel Weber; and two sisters, Johannah Berger and Ann Quast.
A Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, Sept. 7 at 4 p.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted. Father Paul L. Wolf was the celebrant. Interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.
Friends called Tuesday, Sept. 6 from 5 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted. A prayer service took place at 7:30 p.m.
Casket bearers were Carolyn Hemerick, Wanda Weber, Gary Weber, Charles Weber, Reuben Weber, and Leo Guennigsman.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
