Sharon Winter obituary, 9/15/05


Sharon Winter, age 60 of Watkins, died Thursday, Sept. 15, 2005 at her home.
She was bron June 2, 1945 at St. Cloud, the daughter of Raymond and Viola (Jansen) Wurm.
Sharon married Harry Winter June 27, 1964 at Maple Lake.
She worked at the Litchfield Garment Co. for many years, and at Innovex in Litchfield for five years.
Sharon was a member of St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Forest City.
She enjoyed gardening and flowers, playing cards, and trivia games. She also enjoyed visiting with family and friends, and especially spending time with her grandchildren.
Sharon is survived by her husband, Harry; children Dianna Ertl and her special friend, Jeff Brandl, of Watkins, Darrala Loch and her husband, Darren, of Litchfield, andTom Winter of Watkins; and seven grandchildren.
She is further survived by brothers and sisters and their spouses: Carol and Herman Fasching of Minneapolis, Rosemary and David Mattson of Waverly, Lynnea and Stan Stay of South Haven, and Ron Wurm and David Wurm of Isle.
She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother in infancy; and nephew David Erpelding.
Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, Sept. 19 at St. Gertrude Catholic Church in Forest City, with the Rev. Patrick Casey officiating. Music was by Cindy Knutson and Pat Munson.
Casket bearers were Eugene Erpelding, Jr.; Steve Erpelding, Brad Erpelding, Brandon Mattson, Gary Fasching, Chad Wurm, and Raymond Wurm.
Arrangements were with Ertl Funeral Home in Watkins.
