Erna E. Wolter obituary, 12/20/05


Erna E. Wolter, age 93 of Mayer, died Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2005 at Auburn West in Waconia.
She was born July 21, 1912 at Camden Twp., Carver County, the daughter of Fred W. and Bertha (Burkowske) Lueck. Erna was baptized Aug. 11, 1912 at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, Camden Twp., New Germany, by the Rev. Theo Rolf; and confirmed March 28, 1926 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany, by Rev. Rolf.
Erna was united in marriage to Harold E. Wolter Dec. 9, 1936 at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany, by Rev. Rolf.
Erna was a loving wife, mom, and grandma. She enjoyed canning, gardening, making rhubarb sauce, quilting, and dancing.
She is survived by her loving family: son, Alden Wolter of Shakopee; daughter and son-in-law, Phyllis and Virgil Stender of Norwood Young America; grandchildren, Roger and Michelle Wolter, Lori and Joe Hoglund, Denise and Chad Neuman, and Derek Stender; and great-granddaughter Taylor Hoglund.
Erna is further survived by a sister, Anna Buehler of Waconia; brother-in-law Edwin Foster of Waconia; sister-in-law Cinderella McQuay of Tucson, Ariz.; nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold; granddaughter Brenda Wolter; parents Fred and Bertha Lueck; sisters Edna Lueck, Ella Schmidt, and Olga Foster; and brothers Rheinhold, William, Frederick, Roland, Hugo, Otto, Paul, and Christian Lueck.
Funeral services are Tuesday, Dec. 27 at 11 a.m. at St. Mark Lutheran Church, New Germany, with the Rev. Allen Holthus officiating. Interment will be in St. Mark Lutheran Cemetery.
Casket bearers are Roger Wolter, Lori Hoglund, Denise Stender Neuman, Derek Stender, Marvin Green, Lester Buehler, Dennis Wolter, and Richard Brusehoff.
Arrangements are by the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.

    you wrote the book in it or something. I think that you can do with a few pics to
    drive the message home a bit, but other than that,
