Willard Berry, age 79, of Renton, Wash., died Wednesday, June 28, 2006.
He was born July 28, 1926 in Lester Prairie.
Willard served his country in the US Army, stationed in Japan during World War II.
He was employed by Boeing as a machinist, retiring in 1987.
Willard resided in South King County, Renton, Wash., for more than 50 years; and was a member of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, and Lord of Life Lutheran Church.
He enjoyed fishing and vegetable gardening.
Willard is survived by his wife, Eunice Berry; sons David Berry, and Mark (Therese) Berry; daughter Ellen (John) Hanson; six grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and a brother, Harold (Eleanor) Berry).
He was preceded in death by a daughter, Barbara Pease; brother Glen Berry; and sister Lorraine Berry.
Funeral services were Thursday, July 6 at 11 a.m. at Greenwood Chapel, followed by interment in Greenwood Memorial Park, in Washington.
Visitation was Wednesday, July 5 from noon to 5 p.m. at the Greenwood Funeral Home, which handled the arrangements.
