Suzy was united in marriage to Elroy W. Burkowske July 20, 1957 in Willow Lake Twp., Redwood County, Minn., by the Rev. A. S. Bernthal at the pastor’s home.
A kind, loving, and dedicated wife and mother, Suzy’s concern for the emotional and physical well-being of her family continued throughout her lengthy illness, overshadowing her concerns for herself. Her grace, beauty and disarming smile endeared her caregivers to her during her hospitalizations.
Her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, in particular, were a source of joy to her during her last difficult months.
The many people whose lives were touched by Suzy will be forever impacted by their interactions with her. She will be sorely missed by her family and friends.
