Diana Lynne Chambers
Diana Lynne Chambers, age 53, of Woodbury, died Friday, July 14, 2006 at the Cokato Manor.
She was born Jan. 4, 1953 in Los Angeles, Calif. to Kent and Elsie (Kotila) Chambers. She then moved to North Minneapolis.
Diana graduated from North High School in 1970. She went on to attend the University of Minnesota, graduating with a bachelor’s degree in 1975. She furthered her education by attending Augsburg College, earning a degree in chemical engineering.
Diana served in the Peace Corps for a year and a half, in El Salvador.
She was employed at 3M, and lived in Woodbury.
Diana enjoyed photography, bird watching, walks in the woods, nature, and spending time with her dogs.
She is survived by her brother, Daniel Chambers of Robbinsdale; a niece, Carissa; aunts Helmi Kivisto of Minneapolis, and Martha Johnson of French Lake; cousins, and other relatives.
Diana was preceded in death by her mother.
A memorial service is planned for Sunday, July 30 at 1 p.m. at the Cokato Manor, with interment at the Cokato Finnish Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato.
