Molly Alice Gallus
Molly Alice Gallus, age 28 of Buffalo, passed away at her sister’s home, near Waconia, Saturday, Fe. 4, 2006.
She was born in Watertown May 8, 1977, the daughter of Ralph J. and Shirley A. Keeler Gallus.
Molly graduated from Delano High School in 1996, where she was a member of the softball team, loved basketball and the Vikings, and was an avid Delano Tiger sports fan.
She was involved with the Special Olympics and was a 13-year graduate of 4-H. While in 4-H, Molly learned how to show dogs and participated at the Minnesota State Fair, showing champion rabbits.
Molly was a country western music fan and especially loved birthday parties, planning for her own every year, all year long.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Shirley Gallus; a niece, Katie Hickman; and a great niece, Maggie Swartzer.
Molly is survived by her father, Ralph Gallus of Montrose; siblings Sandy (Tony) Swartzer, Joy (Jim) Hickman, Joe (Sue) Gallus, Deb (Jeff) Becklund, Shirley (Tim) Kallunki, Shawn (Ken) Karl, and John (Bev) Gallus; nine nieces; six great nieces, 12 nephews, and 11 great nephew.
She is further survived by aunts Mary Dudley Becker, Maxine Keeler Morgan, Eleanor Adickes, LaVerne Johnson, Marge Jerde, and Betty (Marvin) Rodgers; her roommates, Staci, Bernie, and Jeanie; all of the staff at The Buffalo Lake House; and Molly’s special friends at ATHC in Winsted.
A memorial service took place Saturday, Feb. 11 at 11 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with the Rev. Frank J. Wampach officiating.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
