Lily A. HowardLily A. Howard, age 10 months, died Thursday, Dec. 14, 2006 at her home in Darwin. Mass of Christian Burial was Monday, Dec. 18 at 10:30 a.m. at St. John’s Catholic Church in Darwin, with Father Pat Casey as celebrant. Visitation was Sunday, Dec. 17 from 4 to 7 p.m., with a parish prayer service at 5:30 p.m. at Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home in Litchfield, and continued one hour prior to the services at the church. There was a private family interment. Josh Howard and Leah Peterson-Howard were blessed with the birth of Lily, a beautiful baby girl, Wednesday, Feb. 8, 2006, in St. Cloud. At six months of age, Lily was diagnosed with SMA, a disease that affects the muscular and respiratory systems. Lily is survived by her parents, Josh Howard and Leah Peterson-Howard of Darwin; grandparents Lee and Bernie Peterson of Darwin; aunts Andrea Peterson of Darwin, and Lindsey Madla of Cokato; great-grandparents Calvin and Bette Arvidson of Litchfield, Jim and Yvonne Morehouse of Dassel, and Bernard and Madrene Peterson of Dassel; as well as other loving family and friends. Arrangements were by the Johnson-Hagglund Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Litchfield. |
