Jason Erwin Lachermeier

Jason Erwin Lachermeier, age 36 of New Hope, and formerly of Winsted, died Friday, Jan. 20, 2006 in Palmer Township, Sherburne County.

He was born Dec. 3, 1969 in Glencoe, the son of Conrad and Victoria Alsleben Lachermeier.

He attended Holy Trinity Catholic School in Winsted.

Through the years, Jason was employed by several lumber companies.

He enjoyed hunting, fishing, listening to music, watching movies, astrology, and astronomy.

Jason is survived by his loving parents, Conrad and Victoria Lachermeier of Clear Lake; a sister, Jada (Mark) Washington of Lakeville; children, Jeremiah and Jerrica Lachermeier; a nephew, Braydon; grandparents, Florentine Lachermeier of Winsted, and Erwin and Inez Alsleben of Glencoe; aunts, uncles, and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Alois Lachermeier, in 1996; and by uncles, Gary Lachermeier in 1983, and Rick Lachermeier in 1999.

A Mass of Christian Burial took place Tuesday, Jan. 24 at 10:30 a.m. at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Winsted with the Rev. Paul L. Wolf as the celebrant. Alice Nowak was the organist, and Tom Wiemiller was the soloist for the Mass. Urn bearer was Glenn Lachermeier. Interment followed at Holy Trinity Cemetery.

Visitation took place from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, Jan. 23 at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m.

The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
