Marcia Kay Long
Marcia Kay Long, age 55, of Eden Prairie, formerly of Longfield Farm in Delano, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2006 in Edina.
She was born Nov. 2, 1950, in Minneapolis, the daughter of Bernard and Bernadine (Kniefel) Feller.
Marcia was employed as a registered nurse in the health care industry.
She enjoyed horses and English- style riding, and dogs, including her favorite, Sadie. Her various hobbies included quilting, knitting, and sewing.
Marcia was a member of American Legion Women’s Auxiliary, Clarence Clofer Post 259 of Excelsior.
She is survived by her loving husband, Patrick; mother Bernadine Feller; brother Stephen (Nancy) Feller; sisters Cathy (Gary) Fuller, and Cindy (Ted) Wynne-Jones; nieces LeAnn Fuller, Sandy Fuller, and Kenna Wynne-Jones; nephew Cole Wynne-Jones; uncle Anthony (Dolly) Kniefel; and other family.
Marcia was preceded in death by her father, Bernard Feller; and a niece, Kaitlyn Wynne-Jones.
Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Aug. 30 at 11 a.m. at St. Hubert Catholic Community in Chanhassen, with the Rev. Michael Krenik officiating. Private interment followed. Visitation took place for one hour prior to the Mass.
Arrangements were by Huber Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Eden Prairie Chapel.
