Dolly Mary MoyDolly Mary (Giacomini) Moy, age 59, of Waverly, died Monday, Nov. 20, 2006. A devoted Catholic, loving wife, mother, and friend, Dolly was born June 6, 1947, the daughter of Ani-bole and Arminia (Venier) Giacomini of Duluth. She graduated from Morgan Park High School in 1965, and later continued her education in X-ray school through St. Mary’s Hospital, Duluth. Dolly moved to Winsted in pursuit of a career through St. Mary’s Hospital, where she met her husband, Jim. They shared 36 years of marriage, and their marriage was blessed with two sons; Martin and Alan, and a grandson, Jake. Dolly is survived by her loving husband, James E. Moy of Waverly; sons Martin A. Moy of New York City, N.Y., and Alan O. (Misty) Moy, and grandson Jake E. Moy of Corpus Christi, Texas; her mother, Arminia Emanuel of Waverly; brother-in-law Al (Marge) Moy of Waverly; sisters-in-law: Linda (Bill) Buschel of Dallas, Texas, and Terry Giacomini of Eagan; and countless friends and family. She was preceded in death by her father, Anibole Giacomini; brother Joseph Giacomini; granddaughter Hannah Moy; and stepfather John Emanuel. A Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Nov. 25 at 9:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly. Father Timothy Cloutier was the celebrant. Interment followed at the church cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Nov. 24 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted, and continued Saturday morning, Nov. 25 from 8:15 to 9:30 a.m. at the church. Casket bearers were Peter, Tony, and Jeff Giacomini; Jerry Gilmer, Tom Hauwiller, and Ken Moy. The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family. |
