Sr. Florence Neudecker
School Sister of St. Francis Florence Neudecker (Paraclita), former teacher and principal at Holy Trinity School in Winsted, died Tuesday, May 9, 2006 at Sacred Heart Convent in Milwaukee, Wis.
The daughter of Andrew and Laura, she was born June 12, 1906 in Clements, Minn.
She was received into the School Sisters of St. Francis community June 12, 1928, and made profession of vows Aug. 23, 1934.
Sister Florence lived her religious ministry as a teacher and principal in Wisconsin, Nebraska, South Dakota, Minnesota, and Illinois. While serving in the Diocese of New Ulm, Sister taught and was principal at Holy Trinity School in Winsted, from 1952 to 1958.
Sister Florence is survived by a sister, Esther Callahan of Roseville; nieces; nephews; and the School Sisters of St. Francis.
A wake and funeral Mass took place Thursday, May 11 at St. Joseph Convent in Milwaukee, Wis. Interment was in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Milwaukee.
