Louis E. (Louie) Rancour Louis E. (Louie) Rancour, age 77, of Montrose, died Thursday, June 1, 2006. Louie had his own excavating company for many years and later, was a municipal employee of Waverly. He retired in 1994. Louie was preceeded in death by his parents, Tom and Bertha Rancour; sisters Marie Riggs, and Florence Zachman; and brothers Lawrence, Herb, and Ray Rancour. He is survived by his loving wife of 51 years, Arline; sisters Loraine (Clarence) Buehl ,and Esther (Dick) Arne; brother Bill (Kitty) Rancour; daughter Connie (Gerald) Gruenhagen; sons Mike (Kathy) Rancour, Tony (Aimee) Rancour, Pat (Shelly) Rancour, and Vince Rancour; grandchildren Tracy and Dana Rancour, Christina and Matt Gruenhagen, Sara Bublitz, and Luke and Rebecca Rancour; and other relatives and friends. Visitation was Saturday, June 3 at 9 a.m., at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Waverly, followed by a memorial service at 10 a.m. Private interment will take place at a later date at French Lake Cemetery.
