Donald A. “Stottsie” Stotts obituary, 7/10/06


Donald A. “Stottsie” Stotts, age 76 of Rogers, died Monday, July 10, 2006 at the Wellstead of Rogers, surrounded by his family.
He was born Nov. 8, 1929 in Alma, Wis.
A prominent cabinet manufacturer for 36 years, and the founder of Dura Supreme, Inc., Don served on the Vocational School Board, Carpenter & Cabinet Union Board, National Kitchen Cabinet Assn. Board, Business & Estate Advisers, Inc. Advisory Board, US Navy (Seabees), Fridley Chamber of Commerce, and the Fridley Industrial Development Committee.
He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Arlene; children Keith (Lynn), Kevin, and Kathy; grandchildren Jared, Jason, Derek, Tiffany, Taylor, Carson, and Kendall; and great-grandchild Abigail.
Don was preceded in deeath by his mother, Myrtle Sjoding; sister Donna Mae Dingley; and brother-in-law Sheldon Dingley.
Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, July 12 at 2 p.m. at the Church of the Holy Name of Jesus in Medina. Visitation was from noon to 2 p.m. at the church.
Arrangements were by Gearty-Delmore Funeral Chapel in Minneapolis.
