Sandra Lee Ashwill, age 53, of Cokato, died at her home Monday, Nov. 5, 2007 with her family at her side.
She was born Sept. 29, 1954 in Minneapolis to Carl and Grace (Ekre) Kleven.
Sandra married Dale Ashwill Aug. 27, 1977 in Maple Lake.
Sandy worked for Hutchinson Technology in Plymouth for 10 years, retiring in June of 2007.
She was a member of Grace Lutheran Church.
Sandy enjoyed knitting, sewing, cooking, reading, and walking; but what she enjoyed most was spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband of 30 years, Dale; son Kyle and his wife, Beth of Cokato; daughter Karissa Kasella and her husband, John of Royalton; granddaughter Amanda Ashwill; brother Greg Kleven of Hopkins; and sister Nancy Bratvold and her husband, Bob, of East Grand Forks.
Sandra was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services took place Friday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at Grace Lutheran Church in South Haven with the Rev. Michael Nelson officiating. Interment was in Riverside Cemetery.
Friends called from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8 at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel in Annandale, and one hour prior to the service Friday at the church.
Arrangements were handled by Dingmann Funeral Care of Annandale.
