Earl Lawrence Blaylock
Earl Lawrence Blaylock, age 90, of Bloomington, died Thursday, July 26, 2007.
Funeral service is today, July 30 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. John the Baptist in Savage, with visitation beginning at 9 a.m. at the church.
Visitation also took place Sunday, July 29 from 3 to 7 p.m., with a rosary at 6 p.m., at Gill Brothers Funeral Home, Bloomington.
Earl was a proud graduate of DeLaSalle High School, class of 1934.
In 1938, he founded Blaylock Plumbing Company, which is now operated by his sons. The company continues to serve the Twin Cities area.
Earl married Lorraine Lagermeier in 1980. Golfing was a big part of their life together in retirement. His winter home in Fort Myers, Fla. enabled them to enjoy golfing all year.
He was preceded in death by wife Helen Welter Blaylock; and daughter Barbara Kathleen.
In addition to his wife, Lorraine, Earl is survived by his children, Larry (Irene Friendshuh), Mary (Vince Ferguson), Mike (Susan), Wally (Bonnie), Nancy (David Liebert), Jean (Don Hockman), David (Karen), Marnie (Marv Ebensperger), Marcia (Stephen Kwiecinski), Dan (Jackie), and Dick (Jeni); 29 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Gill Brothers Funeral Home in Bloomington.
