Roger Elton “Boomer” Bobrowske

Roger Elton “Boomer” Bobrowske, age 73, of Dassel, died Saturday, Sept. 15, 2007 at St. Cloud Hospital.

A celebration of Roger’s life will take place Saturday, Oct. 6 at 1 p.m. at Kingston Community Center in Kingston. Interment will follow at Howard Lake Cemetery.

Roger was born Jan. 31, 1934 to Ernest and Doris (Robinson) Bobrowske in Howard Lake. He attended school in Dassel.

Roger joined the Army in 1956, and served in Korea.

Through the years, Roger farmed, worked on construction, and delivered chickens. In his later years, he had his own gravel business.

Roger is survived by his dog and best friend, Sally Sawdust; daughter Monica (Tom) Hanson; two grandchildren, Miles and Maisy of Cold Spring; a nephew, Lee; and four nieces, Lois, Leslie, Lisa, and Lana.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and a brother, Donald.
