Elmer A. Branson
Elmer A. Branson, age 76, of Kingston, died Sunday, March 4, 2007 at the VA Medical Center in St. Cloud.
He was born Sept. 23, 1930 to Edward and Agnes Branson. They moved to Meeker County in the 1930s, and then moved to the Kimball area in the early 1940s.
As a member of the US Air Force from 1950 to 1954, Elmer served his time in the Korean War.
He worked at various jobs afterward, and later moved back to the farm in Kimball.
Elmer was preceded in death by his mother and father; several uncles and aunts; and his grandparents.
He is survived by his sister, Jo Ann Mack and her husband, Frank; a niece, Cynthia Arrington (Justin); and a nephew, Curtis Mack (Karen) and their children Sheena (Robert) Brazington and son Naithyn, Adam Blamires, Katelen Blamires, and Nicholas and Noah Mack, all of Idaho.
The funeral service took place Saturday, March 17 at 2 p.m. at the Apostolic Lutheran Church in Kingston with Pastor Orval Wirkkala officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery at a later date.
Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home in Dassel.
