Helen Ann Campbell, age 82, of Faribault, and formerly of Watertown, died Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2007 at the Fairview Hospital in Red Wing.
She was born Oct. 20, 1924, in Watertown.
Helen was united in marriage to Peter J. Campbell Sept. 9, 1947. They farmed the original Campbell family farm for 40 years.
A faithful member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown. Helen served in many capacities including religious education director, funeral liturgical ministry, and board of trustees.
Prior to marriage, Helen taught at the Woodland and Hollywood country schools. She continued a lifelong service of teaching and giving to all those she came in contact with throughout the years.
Helen was preceded in death by her husband, Peter J. Campbell, March 21, 1988; and her parents, Michael and Esther Magner.
She is survived by her children: Joseph and Patty Campbell, Phyllis and Bill Federbusch, Jeanne and Dave Campbell, Mary Campbell, Karen and George Burbie, and Peter and Kris Campbell; grandchildren Zachary Campbell, Sean Campbell and fiancé Jennifer Beuning, Katie and Timothy Campbell, Meagan and Joshua Campbell, Jacob Burbie, and Sergei and Mikhail Campbell; sisters Rita and Joe Ryan, and Mary Nolan; brothers John and Leona Magner, and Mike and Fran Magner; brother-in-law John Campbell; and sisters-in-law Delores and Tony Kruse, and Eileen Campbell.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, Oct. 20 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Watertown with the Rev. Kevin Magner officiating. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements were with the Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home.
