Kenneth H. Droegemueller, age 65, of Maple Grove, died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007.
Ken was well known in the wrestling community. He was a teacher and a wrestling coach in Worthington, and most recently retired from Osseo after 22 years.
Ken was inducted into the Windom, Worthington, Osseo, Mankato, Minnesota, and national wrestling Halls of Fame.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Willis and Doris Droegemueller.
Ken is survived by brothers, Wally (Sue, daughters Lydia and Julie) of Plymouth, and Roger of Windom; sister Dawn Vaske (Larry, sons Kyle and Chad) of Worthington; sons Dave (Angie) and Darren (Kim); daughter Deanne Moore (Steve); grandchildren Weston, Shelby, Dalton, and Dylan; and his loving companion, Margaret Sausen.
Visitation was Friday, Dec. 28 from 4 to 8 p.m. at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in Maple Grove. The funeral service took place Saturday, Dec. 29 at 11 a.m. at the church.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
