Marvin Herman Henning
Marvin Herman Henning, age 81, of Buffalo, died Friday, Sept. 7, 2007 at his home.
Marvin was preceded in death by his parents, Harman and Alice (Hahn) Henning; wife Annette (nee Matteson); a son-in-law, Charles Koesheler; and by a great-grandson, Luke Yager.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rosalie; children: Linda Henning of Sauk Rapids, Leslie (Rusty) Simon of Maple Plain, Laura Koesheler of Winsted, Lisa Henning of Buffalo, Carol (Gary) Dietel of Glencoe, Gary (Jenie) Poirier of Cloquet, Kathy Poirier of Chaska, Clayton (Cathy) Poitier of Buffalo, Donnie (Trang) Poirier of West St. Paul, Steven Poirier of Hopkins, Donna (Nick) Dietel, Dennis Poirier of Jordan, and Charles (Barb) Poirier of Coon Rapids; 27 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and many good friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Waverly. Father Timothy Cloutier was the celebrant. Interment followed at St. Mary’s Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation was Monday, Sept. 10 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home of Winsted, with a prayer service at 7 p.m.
Pall bearers were Matt Simon, Mike Kulas, Randy Koecheler, Charles Anderson, Tom Poirier, and Josiah Poirier.
Honorary casket bearers were Eric Dietel, Jon Reitan, Justin Reitan, Eli Poirier, Kent Poirier, and Gary Poirier.
The Chilson Funeral Home of Winsted served the family.
