June K. Hoese obituary, 4/2/07


June K. Hoese, age 76, of Mayer, died Monday, April 2, 2007 at Merit Care Hospital in Fargo, N.D.
June was baptized in the Christian faith, and confirmed June 2, 1946 at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Benson by the Rev. M.G. Berg.
She was united in marriage to Myron “Mike” Hoese July 13, 1959 at the Little Brown Church in the Vale, Iowa, by the Rev. Glenn Utterback.
June was preceded in death by her husband, Myron “Mike;” parents, William and Gladys Marholtz; brother Roger Marholtz; father-in-law and mother-in-law, William and Lillie Hoese; and brother-in-law and sisters-in-law Russell Hoese, Marjorie Hoese, Joan Hoese, and Peggy Hoese.
June operated a goose farm, raised beef cattle, and worked at Minnesota Rubber for many years.
She is survived by her loving family: son and daughter-in-law Roy and Lynda Hoese of Longville; grandchildren Jody, Dawn, and Ken; Kelly, Jayme, Joshua and Billie; Jacob, Bradley and Chris; Brian, Brenda, Jenna Rae; and great-grandchildren Malachi, Logan, Victoria, Katherine, Patrick, Sam, Abby, Timothy, Maddison, Britney, Devon, Cassie, Cody, and Katie.
June is further survived by brother and sister-in-law William and Betty Marholtz of Bloomington; sisters and brother-in-law Corrine Marholtz of Roseville, Doris and Glenn Cummings of Delano, and Marlys Isely of Parkersberg, W.V.; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Services were Friday April 6, at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer, with the Rev. Lucas Woodford officiating. Interment was at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Mayer.
Casketbearers were Mike Marholtz, Corey Cummings, Rick Cummings, Steve Wabbe, Bob Flemming, and Lyle Honebrink.
Arrangements were with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
