Thomas F. Karie
Thomas Franklin Karie, age 69, of Annandale, died Tuesday, June 19, 2007 at home.
He was born June 8, 1938 in French Lake Township to Lindsey and Hilma (Hendrickson) Karie. Tom was confirmed at the Apostolic Lutheran Church.
He graduated from Annandale High School with the class of 1956. Following high school, Tom did some work in road construction.
He then served his country in the US Army from June of 1962 to May of 1964.
Tom was employed for many years at Landscape Structures Inc. in Delano, retiring from there.
Even though retired, Tom continued to work part-time as a security guard at French Lake Auto Parts.
Tom enjoyed fishing and gardening.
He is survived by his brother, Robert, of Duluth; brother-in-law William Thompson of Arizona; a number of nieces and nephews; and his long-time companion, his little dog, Prince.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents; twin infant sisters; and sister Pearl Thompson.
Funeral service was Sunday, June 24 at 1 p.m. at Riverside Cemetery, French Lake Township, with the Rev. Ed Groop officiating. Interment was at Riverside Cemetery.
Arrangements wre by the Swanson-Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato.
