Peggy R. Kolasa, age 57, of Nisswa, formerly of Delano, died unexpectedly and peacefully Saturday, Oct. 27, 2007 in Arizona.
A memorial service will take place Tuesday, Nov. 6 at 7 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano, preceded by a gathering for family and friends from 4 to 7 p.m.
Peggy was born March 1, 1950 in Delano, to Lee and Viola (Krause) Oslowski.
She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.
Peggy was a co-founder of VSK Equipment in Rockford. Upon retirement, she traveled with her husband, Vern, in their RV and made many friends across the country.
Peggy is survived by her husband, Vern; sons Jerry and Janet Kolasa, and Kevin and Katrina Kolasa; daughters Kelli and Todd McNevin, and Katie and George Hulinsky; grandchildren Jacob, Kole, Jeslyn, Colin, Kodi, Heather, and Hannah; brothers Don and Brenda Oslowski, Dennis and Helena Oslowski, Lee Jr. and Arlene Oslowski, and Gary and Cathy O’Borsky; sister Gail and Wayne Loeffler; and many brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
She is further survived by Vern’s siblings: Marlene (Bernard) Vetsch, Bernice Dalbec, Barb (Dave) Gilles, Jim (Suzie) Kolasa, Bob (Marne) Kolasa, Stan Jr. (Nancy) Kolasa, John (Danice) Kolasa, Ed Sr. (Roberta) Kolasa, Margaret (Rick) Kottke, Tom (Dianna) Kolasa, Mary (Tim) Brown, and Claire (Robert) Lensegrav.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Viola O’Borsky; stepfather Jerry Frank; and father, Lee Oslowski.
Arrangements are by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
