Andrew Dale Kutzke

Andrew Dale Kutzke, age 16, of Mayer, died Sunday, Jan. 21, 2007 as the result of a car accident.

He was born Nov. 2, 1990 in Shakopee, the son of Dale R. and Linda S. (Buetow) Kutzke. Andrew was baptized Nov. 11, 1990 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer by the Rev. Peter Meier, and confirmed May 1, 2005 by the same.

Andy was a sophomore at Waconia High School. He loved fishing, hunting, farming, bowling, and snowmobiling. Working with his dad doing carpentry jobs was special for both of them.

He enjoyed hanging around with his cousins, family, and friends, and will always be remembered for his nickname, “Chuckles,” and his great smile. Andrew was a loving son, brother, grandson, great-grandson, nephew, and cousin.

He is survived by his loving family: parents Linda and Dale Kutzke of Mayer; sister Jennifer Kutzke and special friend James Reimer of Mayer; grandparents Inez and Earl Buetow of Carver, and Judy and Darrel Kutzke of Mayer; great-grandmother Elaine Kutzke of Maple Plain; aunts and uncles Gerry and Denise Buetow of Cologne, Cheryl Wood of Lester Prairie, Ranee and David Bingham of Carver, Dean and Shari Kutzke of Norwood Young America, Dawn Kutzke of Lester Prairie, Anna and John LaTour of South Haven, and Rollin and Karin Ryan of Camarillo Calif.; many cousins; other relatives and friends; and his dog, “Benny.”

Andrew was preceded in death by his great-grandparents.

Funeral service was Wednesday Jan. 24 at 11 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church in Mayer, with the Rev. Lucas V. Woodford officiating. Interment was at Zion Lutheran Cemetery in Mayer.

Casket bearers were Brian Buetow, Chris Buetow, Jacob Buetow, Ryan Kutzke, Dylan Bingham, Colin Bingham, Ryan Gennrich, Cody Molnau, and Jesse Quaas.

Arrangements were by the Johnson Funeral Home, Waconia.
