Karen Lee Lange
Karen Lee Lange, age 58, of Howard Lake, died Thursday, May 3, 2007 at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Center.
She was born Oct. 15, 1948 in Minneapolis, to Robert and Myrtle Kinn. Karen grew up in south Minneapolis and attended South High School.
She met Darell Lange in 1972, and in 1986, they were married in Las Vegas at the Chapel of the Stars.
Karen and Darell lived in Albuquerque, N.M. for about seven years. They then moved back to Minnesota, most recently residing in Hutchinson.
Karen liked to collect Indian dolls, Barbie dolls, coffee cups, sewing machines, and especially antiques. She enjoyed crocheting and sewing.
She is survived by her husband, Darell of Hutchinson; children, Scott of Howard Lake, Stacy of Buffalo, Jesse of Big Lake, and Marty of Hutchinson; and brothers, Randy Kinn of Seattle, Wash., and Dick (Lanay) Kinn of Greenfield.
Karen was preceded in death by her parents; and a brother, Bob.
Funeral service was Monday, May 7 at the Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Howard Lake with the Rev. Rick Messer officiating.
