Mylo P. Noerenberg
Mylo P. Noerenberg, age 65, of Hollywood Twp., Mayer, died suddenly Friday Jan. 19, 2007 at his home.
He was born Oct. 8, 1941 in Hollywood Twp., Carver County, the son of August C. and Hilda E. (Rudloff) Noerenberg. Mylo was baptized Oct. 26, 1941 at St. John Lutheran Church, New Germany by the Rev W. L. Ernst; and confirmed April 3, 1955 at the same church by the Rev. Robert Heyne.
Mylo was united in marriage to Carol J. Waetjen Oct. 29, 1960 at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Norwood Young America, by the Rev. Victor AmEnd.
Mylo lived and breathed farming; it was his life and he loved it. A couple of favorite pastimes were attending the state fair and toy shows.
He is preceded in death by his parents, August and Hilda Noerenberg; brothers Leonard and Larry Noerenberg; and father-in-law and mother-in-law John and Evelyn Waetjen.
Mylo is survived by his loving family: wife Carol; children and spouses Kathy and Michael Odenthal of Brownton, Kevin Noerenberg of Winsted, Kim and Curt Thiemann of Winsted, Kelly Hillesheim of Waconia, and Kraig Noerenberg of Mayer; and grandchildren Samantha, Dustin, Elizabeth, Melissa, Christopher, Corey, Shawn, Scott and Stephanie.
He is further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law Darlene and Gordon Schroeder of New Germany, and Carol and John Waetjen of Waconia; sisters-in-law and brother-in-law Margaret Noerenberg of New Germany, Maureen Noerenberg of Watertown, Delphine Griswold of Princeton, and LaVonne and Richard Kroells of Norwood Young America; aunts and uncle Viola Stender of New Germany, and Edna and Norman Arnold of Annandale; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
Funeral service was Tuesday Jan. 23 at 2 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Hollywood Twp., New Germany, with the Rev. Robert Rupprecht officiating. Interment was at St. John Lutheran Cemetery in Hollywood Twp.
Casket bearers were Lyle Schroeder, Rick Kroells, Troy Waetjen, Terry Waetjen, John Griswold, and Phillip Griswold.
Arrangements were with the Johnson Funeral Home in Waconia.
