Linda Kay Ohm, age 43, of Hutchinson, died Thursday, Nov. 1, 2007 at Regency Hospital of Golden Valley.
She was born Nov. 5, 1963 in Hutchinson, the daughter of Loren and Patricia (Benton) Ohm. Linda grew up in the Dassel and Cokato area and attended the Dassel Cokato Schools.
She worked at the Dairy Queen in Cokato while in high school and cared for her mother, who was suffering with multiple sclerosis.
After high school, Linda worked at Functional Industries in Litchfield and Hutchinson.
Following the death of her parents, Linda lived for a time with Linda Larson of Grove City. Recently, she acquired a new family at the Country House in Hutchinson.
Linda enjoyed music and television, and liked to play games.
She is survived by her grandparents, Charles and Viola Ohm of Litchfield; cousins; aunts; uncles; caregivers Kimberly, David, and Nikk; and her family at the Country House.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 5 at 3 p.m. at Gethsemane Lutheran Church of Dassel with the Rev. John Peterson officiating. Music was provided by Flo Ostness and Sheldon Hedin. Interment was in the Evangelical Lutheran Cemetery in Cokato.
Casket bearers were D. J. Ohm, Bruce Ohm, Ryan Russel, Robert Dahlman, John Isaacson, and Harlan Mielke. Honorary casket bearers were Kimberly, Nikk, and David.
Arrangements were by the Swanson Peterson Funeral Home in Cokato.
