George William RasmussenGeorge William Rasmussen, age 89, of Maple Plain, died Monday, Jan. 8, 2007. A celebration service took place Saturday, Jan. 13 at 11 a.m. at Christ Lutheran Church in Maple Plain, followed by interment at Lewis Cemetery. Visitation was Friday, Jan. 12 from 4 to 8 pm. at the church, and continued Saturday from 10 to 11 am. at the church, prior to the service. George was preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; parents; and three brothers. He is survived by sisters Edith Gotsch-Turnham and Evelyn Hansen; sisters-in-law Emmaline Rasmussen, Jean Rasmussen, and Esther Rasmussen; Richard and Pat Giebenhain and family; and many nieces, nephews, and loyal friends. Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano. |
