Harlan Ambrose Speckel obituary, 6/2/07


Harlan Ambrose Speckel, age 62 of Montrose, died Saturday, June 2, 2007 at his home in Montrose.
He was born June 4, 1944 to Leslie and Florence (Jackel) Speckel in Watertown.
Harlan was employed as a baker, working for the Rockford and Maple Plain bakeries. He enjoyed the outdoors, especially fishing and hunting. Harlan was a member of the St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly.
He was preceded in death by his parents Leslie and Florence Speckel, and his uncle Ervin Geise.
Harlan is survived by his daughter Christie Speckel; grandsons Troy and Andrew Wogan; brothers Jack and Mary Speckel, Raymond and Bev Speckel, Duane “Brady” Speckel; as well as many nieces and nephews.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Saturday, June 9, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. at the St. Mary Catholic Church in Waverly. Visitation was in the church from 8:30 – 9:30 a.m. on Saturday prior to the Mass. Rev. Timothy Cloutier officiated at the service.
Interment was in the church cemetery.
Arrangements by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
