Clyde Richard Brown, age 85, of Loretto, died Monday, Jan. 7, 2008, at his home in Loretto.
He was born Aug. 23, 1922, to Richard and Mabel (Hain) Brown in Pine Grove, Penn.
Clyde was a longtime shop foreman at the Edina Public works.
He served in the US Army during World War II.
Clyde was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley; and sons, Richard and Darr.
He is survived by his children: Kathy and Randy Swanson, Todd and Linda Brown and Terry and Paula Brown; daughter-in-law Jan Brown; nine grandchildren; many great-grandchildren; and other family and friends.
Funeral services took place Friday, Jan. 11 at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano. Rev. Dr. Marlo Miller and Chaplain Bob Haskin officiated at the services, with interment in the Delano Public Cemetery. Military honors were provided by the Delano American Legion Post 377.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
