Lisa Michelle (Lietzau) Cochran, age 44, of Miltona, died Wednesday, April 16, 2008, at the Methodist Hospital in Rochester.
She was born Nov. 28, 1963, in Litchfield, the daughter of Marlin and Leora (Gaulke) Lietzau.
Lisa and Larry Cochran were joined in holy marriage May 28, 1988, at Christ The King Lutheran Church in Hutchinson. Pastor Jon Lindekugel performed the ceremony.
Lisa and Larry have been residents of Miltona since 1998.
Lisa enjoyed fishing, hunting, snowmobiling, and spending time with her cat, “Heather.”
She is survived by her loving husband, Larry Cochran of Miltona; mother Leora Lietzau of Mankato; brother Tony Lietzau and his son, Brandon of Litchfield; a sister, Amy Scruggs and her sons, Detrik and Evan of Mankato; mother-in-law Lorraine (Cochran) Peterson of Waverly; sisters-in-law Kris (Jim) Caldwell of Litchfield, and Kathy (Scott) Ronnei of Eagan; brothers-in-law Steve (Robin) Cochran of Dassel, and Dan (Laurie) Cochran of Miltona; nieces; nephews; aunts; uncles; cousins; great nieces; and a great nephew.
Lisa was preceded in death by her father, Marlin Lietzau; father-in-law Gaylen Cochran; and step father-in-law DeWayne “Pete” Peterson.
Funeral services were Saturday, April 19 at 1 p.m. at the Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted with Pastor Jon Lindekugel officiating. Organist was Marlene Mohwinkel. Rolf Mohwinkel sang “How Great Thou Art” and “Precious Lord, Take my Hand.” Interment was in Winsted Public Cemetery.
A visitation preceded the funeral services, beginning at 11 a.m. at the funeral home
Honorary casket bearers were Detrik and Evan Scruggs.
Casket bearers were Paul Cochran, Ben Ronnei, Ryan Hulthusen, Dustin Koep, Ron Jagodzinski, and Bruce Jagodzinski.
The Chilson Funeral Home in Winsted served the family.
