Jean Dalbec, age 64, of Waverly, died Monday, April 7, 2008, at the Howard Lake Good Samaritan Care Center.
She was born Feb. 5, 1944, to Ralph and Ruth (Nicol) Driver in Litchfield.
Jean was a hard working, caring, loving mother, grandmother, aunt, sister, and friend.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Ralph and Ruth Driver; and a twin brother, Jerry Driver.
Jean is survived by her children, Jeremy and Michelle Driver, Melissa and Harley Olson, Virgil W. Dalbec, and Jason Dalbec and special friend Joelle Butler; 15 grandchildren; siblings Sylvia and Roy Henry, Gladys and Darrell Lachermeier, and Darrel and Bonnie Driver; sister-in-law Char Driver; special friend Virgil A. Dalbec; as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial was Saturday, April 12 at 10 a.m. at the Church of St. Mary in Waverly with the Rev. Timothy Cloutier officiating.
Visitation was Friday, April 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the church, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m., and continued Saturday for one hour prior to the Mass. Interment was in the church cemetery.
Casket bearers were Dean Lachermeier, Dennis Lachermeier, Brian Lachermeier, Jarrod Driver, Scott Driver, Brad Driver, Chad Driver and Coco Henry. Honorary casket bearers were Jean’s eldest grandsons: Josh Dalbec, Mitch Driver, Dylan Mattson, and Colton Olson.
