Rosemary I. Dressel, of Ramsey, formerly of Delano, died Friday, July 11, 2008, as a result of an automobile accident.
She was born to Albert and Gertrude (Towardy) Czanstkowski in Delano.
Rosemary was united in marriage to Willis D. Dressel July 3, 1948, at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano, and they recently celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary.
Rosemary was devoted to her faith, family, and friends. She loved to cook, and talk on the telephone. Gardening, beading, painting, and playing organ music were other hobbies that she held dear.
She was a member of the Ramsey garden club, order of the Cooties; and a past president of the Legion Auxiliary.
Rosemary is survived by her husband, Willis “Bill” Dressel of Ramsey; children Gary and Peggy Dressel, Sandy and Glenn Streeter, Jackie and Rick Martin, Connie and Terry Abraham, and Lori Wendolek; and grandchildren Jessica and Kyle Miller, Patrick and Allison Wendolek, and Brian and Neil Dressel.
She is further survived by siblings and spouses Lucille and Charles Horak, Ann Farr, Frank and Lisa Czanstkowski Sr., Mary and Chuck Hestness, and Joe and Joanne Czanstkowski; as well as many other family members and friends.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Wednesday, July 16 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church in Delano. The Rev. Paul Jaroszeski officiated at the services, with interment in the St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Delano.
Casket bearers were John Czanstkowski Sr., Allen Czanstkowski, Ron Horak, Frank Czanstkowski Jr., Mike Czanstkowski, Fred Farr, Robert Czanstkowski, and Jim Czanstkowski.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
