Marlene M. “Bunnie” Gabrelcik, age 62, of Shakopee, formerly of Buffalo, died unexpectedly Thursday, Nov. 13, 2008.
She was born Aug. 22, 1946, to Lester and Margaret (Julkowski) Wandersee in Minneapolis.
A friend to many, Bunnie loved to socialize, take trips to the casino, travel and see things, spend time with her family, play a good game of cards, but especially, to work. She was always busy with the many details of her work.
She was also strong in her faith, making sure to attend church weekly.
Bunnie was preceded in death by her parents, Lester and Margaret Wandersee.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Jim; siblings Kenneth Wandersee, Janet and Dick Miller; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law Richard and Ginger Gabrelcik, Jack and Karlene Gabrelcik, Paul Gabrelcik, Shirley and Denny Bartos, and Bill Gabrelcik; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Funeral services were Monday, Nov. 17 at the Mt. Olive Lutheran Church in Delano with the Rev. Mark Schwertfeger officiating. Interment was at the Calvary Cemetery in Delano.
Casket bearers were Scott Bartos, Keith Bartos, Scott Ojato, Troy Gabrelcik, Rich Miller, Todd Wandersee, and Todd Gabrelcik.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
