Edith L. Gotsch-Turnham, age 93, of Maple Plain, was united with her Lord and Savior Friday, April 11, 2008, at the Haven Homes Care Center in Maple Plain.
She was born March 17, 1915, to James and Sorina (Kjar) Rasmussen in Kolding, Denmark.
Edith was preceded in death by her parents, James and Sorina Rasmussen; husband Walter Gotsch and Kenneth Turnham; brothers George, Edward, Vincent, and Gordon; and sister-in-law Marge Rasmussen.
She will be deeply missed by her children, daughter Gail and Joseph Rogers; son Mark and Mary Gotsch; grandchildren Timothy and Joy, Tamara and Eric, Todd, Michelle, Matthew, and Melissa; great-grandchildren Andrew, Adam, Hannah, and Marcus; sister Evelyn Hansen; and sisters-in-law Jean Rasmussen and Emmaline Rasmussen.
A celebration service took place Thursday, April 17 at 11 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church in Maple Plain, with visitation beginning at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Interment was in the Lewis Cemetery.
Memorials to Christ Lutheran Church would be welcome.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
