Victor Joseph “Vic” Grossinger, age 83, of Loretto, died Wednesday, May 21, 2008, at the Golden Living Center of Delano after a battle with cancer.
He was born May 8, 1925, to Joseph and Anna (Kaminski) Grossinger in Litchfield.
Victor worked as a laborer in the construction industry and was a member of the Laborers Union 563.
He was preceded in death by his son, Shawn.
Victor is survived by his wife of 55 years, Phyllis; children Georgiana and Ron Motzko, Thomas and Sandra Grossinger, Roxane and Ed Holtz, Pamala Nguyen, Mary and Greg Moen, Douglas and Cathy Grossinger, and Rita Grossinger; 18 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and a sister, Viola Koglin.
Mass of Christian Burial took place Friday, May 23 at 11 a.m. at the St. Thomas the Apostle Catholic Church in Corcoran, with visitation for two hours prior to the Mass. The Rev. Michael Rudolph officiated. Interment followed at the St. Patrick Cemetery in Maple Grove.
Arrangements were with the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
