Margery Grace Jones, age 67, of Watertown, died Saturday, April 5, 2008, at her home.
A memorial service is planned for Monday, April 21 at the Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home at 10 a.m. Chaplain Kathy Lindbloom will officiate, with inurnment in the Watertown Community Cemetery. Urn bearer will be Margery’s brother, Robert Rehard.
A gathering of family and friends will take place Sunday, April 21 from 5 to 7 p.m., and continue Monday from 9 to 10 a.m., all at the funeral home.
Margery was born Nov. 18, 1940, to Philip and Eleanor (Markowitz) Rehard in St. Paul, Minn.
She attended the University of Minnesota, where she was an honor student.
Marjory was the owner of Sirius Acres Dog Kennel, and was a conscientious breeder of miniature schnauzers and Westie show dogs.
An avid antiques collector and student of American history, Marjory enjoyed doing genealogy research and tracing family roots. She was a masterful quilter.
Margery was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
She is survived by her husband of almost 46 years, Wayne; children Tracy, Christine, Daniel, and Andrew; grandchildren Amanda Jones, and Kevin and Joseph Erickson; brothers Ken and Janie Rehard, Robert and Donna Rehard, and Arthur and Beverly Rehard; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Arrangements are by the Iten’s Watertown Funeral Home.
