Louise A. Kaelberer

Louise A. Kaelberer, age 76, of Waconia, died Sunday, March 23, 2008, at the Presbyterian Homes in Spring Park.

She was born March 17, 1932, in Kandota Twp., Todd County, Minn., the daughter of Henry Fred and Wilhelmina (Lohmann) Wiegers. Louise was baptized May 8, 1932, at the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Sauk Centre by the Rev. E. C. Barkow, and confirmed April 14, 1946, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie by the Rev. Edward A. Dicki.

Louise married Edwin P. Kaelberer June 15, 1952, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Long Prairie.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Fred and Wilhelmina Wiegers; and sisters Hilda Froh, Anna Lunser and Johanna Lunser.

Louise is survived by her loving family: husband Edwin; daughter and son-in-law, Joanna and Nick Giusti Sr. of Milbridge, Maine; sons and daughters-in-law, Dwayne Kaelberer and Marcia Krueger of Norwood Young America, and Clyde and Beth Kaelberer of Montrose; grandchildren Andrew and Shawna Kaelberer, and Christina Kaelberer; great-grandson Tyson; step grandchildren, Nicholas Giusti Jr., Nicole Giusti, and Rosa Giusti; and step great-grandchildren Alexander, Lucius, and Kailen.

She is further survived by sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathryn and Walter Tabatt of Long Prairie, and Rose and Orrin Alsleben of Winthrop; brothers and sisters-in-law, Lawrence and Mary Wiegers of Long Prairie, Andrew and Dora Wiegers of Sauk Centre, and Irene Neidhardt of Long Prairie; nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Funeral service took place Thursday, March 27 at 11:30 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church in Waconia with the Rev. Peter Peitsch officiating. Interment was at Trinity Lutheran Cemetery.

Casket bearers were Andrew Kaelberer, Les Hittesdorf, Mike Alsleben, Gary Klein, Mark Klein, and Jerry Sullivan.
