Patrick L. Kespohl, age 65, of Delano, formerly of Montrose, died Sunday, Sept. 7, 2008, at the Golden Living Center in Delano.
He was born Sept. 20, 1942, in Montrose, to Clarence and Helen (Galvin) Kespohl.
Pat served in the US Army from 1960 to 1966, and was honorably discharged.
He was employed in the cooling industry, working for Mamoth, Nortek of Chaska for 34 years.
Pat was a fun-loving, family guy. He enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandsons.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Clarence and Helen Kespohl; and a brother-in-law, Vernon Bakeberg.
Pat is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter Mindy Kespohl; son-in-law Matthew Knoth; two grandsons, Paul and Andrew; and three sisters, Barbara Bakeberg, Sharon Bateman, and Ann DeWolfe.
The funeral service took place Wednesday, Sept. 10 at 7 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Chapel in Delano, preceded by visitation from 4 to 7 p.m. Chaplain Bob Haskin officiated at the service, with private family interment at the Ft. Snelling National Cemetery in Minneapolis.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
