Norman G. Larson, age 82, of Champlin, died Thursday, March 13, 2008, at Mercy Hospital in Coon Rapids.
Funeral service is Monday, March 17 at 11 a.m. at the Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home in Anoka. Interment will be at Grace Lutheran Cemetery in South Haven.
Pallbearers will be Steve Scheel, Jon Lovald, Joshua Larson, Brandon Scheel, Ryan Lovald, and Daniel Larson. Honorary pallbearers are Stacy Davis, Kelli Larson, and Hannah Masteller.
Norman was born June 5, 1926, in South Haven, the son of Louis and Myrtle Marie (Erickson) Larson.
He was involved with music all of his life, and held employment as a piano technician at Music Industry.
Norman was a lifelong member of the Twin Cities Musicians Union.
He is survived by the love of his life, Amy Weicht; children, Sandra (John) Wagner, Jeannie (Larry) Larson, Jeremiah (Mary), Norman “Skip” (Sandy), and Connie Larson; nine grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; siblings, Doris (George) Kotila; Ernest (Dorothy), Marilyn (Glenn) Bakeberg, and Carolyn (John) Kelly; and many other relatives and friends.
Arrangements are being handled by Thurston-Lindberg Funeral Home in Anoka.
