William F. Linhart, age 93, of Rockford, died Friday, Feb. 22, 2008, at his home.
He was a well-respected God-fearing, family man.
William loved to farm, fish, and hunt; and most of all, he loved his family.
He leaves behind his wife of 67 years, Margaret; children, Francis Rucks, Lois (Fredric) Cichon, and Marlene (John) Dick; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; a great-great-grandson; and siblings Rosella Richter, Marie Haster, Francis (Margaret) Linhart, Marjorie (Dennis) Heley, and Eugene (Carolyn) Linhart.
William will be deeply missed by many, especially his family, who knew him as an example of God’s unconditional love.
Mass of Christian Burial was Wednesday, Feb. 27 at noon at Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Loretto, with interment in the church cemetery.
Visitation was Tuesday, Feb. 26, from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Iten Funeral Home in Delano, and continued Wednesday one hour prior to the services at the church.
Arrangements were by the Iten Funeral Home in Delano.
